The UEFA Champions League final between Manchester City and Chelsea will move to Portugal to allow 6,000 soccer fans from each team to attend the match after the UK government put Turkey on its travel "red list."

Originally, the final on May 29 was supposed to be held in Turkey's capital Istanbul, but that would have meant none of the fans of the two English clubs being able to attend because of COVID-19 restrictions and mandatory quarantine.

UEFA chose Portugal because it is on the UK's "green list" and English fans won't have to self-isolate upon their return home after the match.

Fans of the clubs will be able to start buying tickets for the final starting today, while the general public will be able to purchase tickets starting May 24.
