Extinction Rebellion: what are they demanding from the G7?

Extinction Rebellion, the climate and environment-focused protest group, marched through St Ives, England, where the G7 Leaders Summit is being held, chanting and aiming to make as much noise and disruption as possible.

The "Sound the Alarm" event attracted approximately 300 people from around the UK. There will be several other events and marches over the G7 weekend in Cornwall, with marches also moving through Falmouth, where much of the media are based.

CGTN Europe spoke to climate activists at the start of the march and despite the stark warnings of climate change and its global consequences, many were pleased the topics were being discussed at the G7 Summit.
