Greta Thunberg features on a special collection of stamps in Sweden

The Swedish climate activist, Greta Thunberg, has been featured on a collection of stamps in Stockholm's postal museum.

The set of five designs by Henning Trollback all feature drawings of Swedish habitats that need to be protected.

Kristina Olofsdotter, managing director of Postnord stamps, told AFP that the stamps featuring the climate change activist are being positively received, especially, since customers were already asking for stamps with Greta before the official roll-out.

 

There are 271 species protected under EU law in Sweden. /AFP/

Olofsdotter said: "We hope as a big company that also has an impact on the environment to help people to put the spotlight even more on environmental issues."
