Football-mad girl's 7.1m keepy-uppies to raise money for UK key workers

A football-loving eleven-year-old has completed her target of getting 7.1 million keepy-uppies, with the help of stars including Manchester United's Marcus Rashford – and raising more than $14,000 for charity.

Imogen Papworth-Heidel set out with the objective of doing one keepy-uppie for each key worker in the UK, finally completing the final 3,000 at Cambridge United's Abbey Stadium.

Realizing that she would be unable to do the full 7.1 million juggles of the football herself, she encouraged others to join in and help her to reach the target.

Rashford was among the well-known faces who did keepy-uppies to add to Imogen's total.

She said she was inspired by the efforts of Captain Tom Moore, 100, who completed the challenge of walking around his garden 100 times ahead of his birthday this spring to raise money for the UK's National Health Service.

She has raised more than $14,000 with her fundraising effort so far.
