Donald Trump is now back in the U.S. after an historic trip to China.

The three day visit was the first by a US President since 2017 and took place against a backdrop of global economic and political tension.

But after several meetings between Trump and China's President Xi Jinping, the two men agreed what Xi termed "a new vision of building a constructive China-US relationship of strategic stability."

So what does this visit really mean for China-US relations? And indeed for the rest of the world?

On this special edition of The Agenda, Li Jianhua is joined by the former US Ambassador to China, Max Baucus, Dr. Yun Sun, Senior Fellow and Director of the China Program at the Stimson Center, Lanxin Xiang, Zijiang Chair Professor at East China Normal University and Denis Simon, senior research fellow at the Quincy Institute's East Asia program.
