The day the music died hasn't come yet and AI hasn't killed young musicians' hopes and dreams.
That's if you listen to Steve Aoki at least - and he's a global megastar DJ and producer who's had hits with everyone from American rapper Kid Cudi to South Korean boy band BTS.
"I use it [AI] mainly for lyric generation. It has actually helped me quite a lot," Aoki said at the Mobile World Congress (MWC) in Barcelona.
He declared: "You can't stop AI, just like you couldn't stop the internet," saying musicians should "ride the wave". Aoki insisted that AI can't "out-create" the creators or generate the kind of human emotion and passion needed to make great music.

Xiaomi new electric car: Vision GT
Chinese tech titan Xiaomi is also making waves with a shiny new launch of its Vision Gran Turismo electric hypercar, a concept car designed and built for the Gran Turismo video game - a global phenomenon that has sold over 14 million copies.
So wait, Xiaomi designed a whole electric car just for a computer game? Oh yes!
And it's a beauty - a pure aerodynamic dream machine that engineers designed for a virtual world where the laws of physics and the constraints of regulations don't apply.
Why make a car for a computer game, you ask?
Well, Xiaomi has the honor of being the first Chinese company to make a car for the game, joining legacy brands like Porsche, Ferrari, Mercedes-Benz and BMW.
That's fine company to keep and shows how far this digital disruptor has come as a new auto manufacturer in the market.

Xiaomi's France training manager Romain Tillay told CGTN: "The future, the vision is 'Human, Car Home.' This means that whatever the situation, we can provide you a better life, an easy life through innovative technology. So it's easy. With your smartphone, you capture your life with the camera. You reserve your vacation, restaurant, your phone, everything.
"But also you do everything with your IoT (Internet of Things) devices in your house. To clean your laundry, check your health on your watch, check on the ones you love most, your kids and pets with cameras, clean your house with the vacuum cleaner, entertain yourself on video games."
One great example of the IoT that Romain gives is that when your cat steps into the kitty litter the cameras and sensors immediately engage the air fresheners.
The company continues to innovate in all directions.

Huawei to challenge Nvidia on AI chips?
Huawei always makes a statement at the MWC - first of all by renting the most floorspace and putting up the biggest pavilion with 12,000 square meters (the size of six full tennis courts) and over 250 staff and experts on site.
Huawei says loud and clear "we are still here" at the MWC each year with a huge presence showing off all its latest tech, the best selling phones in China, comms hardware, and much more.
This year its statement is even more resounding as it brought its new advanced AI chips and clusters to the MWC, presenting its credentials as a competitor to dominant US chip maker Nvidia.
The Atlas 950 SuperPoD was on show in Barcelona, using chips made by Huawei. It can scale up to 8,192 chips, showing off Huawei's capability to provide a global alternative to US-made chips and positioning itself as a direct competitor to Nvidia's high-end AI infrastructure offerings.
The Atlas is scheduled for availability in Q4 2026, and represents a major technological leap, narrowing the gap with Nvidia in specific technical areas, particularly in data center AI infrastructure.
Huawei had plenty of practical applications on show too, from energy grids to ports and airports, getting from 5G to 6G, and in new retail concepts, like the supermarket of the future. At the latter you can tap your phone on the way in, pick up your shopping, and walk out, your phone beeping with your receipt, with products scanned and calculated by gravity shelves and multiple cameras and the receipt arriving on your phone the second you step outside.
The future will be faster.
