"We reject the unilateral military action by the US and israel. Attack on Iran represents an escalation and contributes to a more uncertain and hostile international order."
Russian foreign ministry:
"Washington and Tel Aviv have once again embarked on a dangerous adventure that is rapidly bringing the region to the brink of a humanitarian, economic, and - this cannot be ruled out - radiological catastrophe.
"The aggressors' intentions are clear and openly declared: to destroy the constitutional order and overthrow the government of a state they find undesirable, which has refused to submit to the diktat of force and hegemonism."
European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen and European Council President Antonio Costa:
"Developments in Iran are greatly concerning. In close coordination with EU member states, we will take all necessary steps to ensure that EU citizens in the region can count on our full support.

"The kingdom strongly condemns and denounces in the strongest terms the brutal Iranian aggression and the blatant violation of the sovereignty of the United Arab Emirates, the Kingdom of Bahrain, the State of Qatar, the State of Kuwait, and the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan."
African Union head Mahamoud Ali Youssouf:
"(We call) for restraint, urgent de-escalation and sustained dialogue. Further escalation risks worsening global instability, with serious implications for energy markets, food security, and economic resilience - particularly in Africa, where conflict and economic pressures remain acute."
Indonesian President Prabowo Subianto:
"Indonesia calls on all parties to exercise restraint and to prioritize dialogue and diplomacy.
"The Government of Indonesia expresses its readiness to facilitate dialogue to restore a conducive security condition and, if agreed by both parties, the President of Indonesia is prepared to travel to Tehran to carry out mediation."
Malaysian Foreign Ministry:
"Malaysia strongly condemns the attacks against Iran and the subsequent retaliatory attacks against several countries in the region... The attacks violate the principles of sovereignty and territorial integrity, as well as the prohibition against the use of force under the Charter of the United Nations and international law. Such unilateral military measures risk further destabilising an already fragile region and endangering civilian lives."
French President Emmanuel Macron:
"France is calling for an urgent meeting of the United Nations Security Council. The current escalation is dangerous for everyone. It must stop."
United Arab Emirates:
"(We condemn and denounce) in the strongest terms the blatant Iranian missile attacks that targeted the UAE and several brotherly nations in the region, considering these acts a flagrant violation of national sovereignty and a clear breach of international law and the Charter of the United Nations."
Britain government spokesperson:
"As part of our longstanding commitments to the security of our allies in the Middle East, we have a range of defensive capabilities in the region, which we have recently bolstered. We stand ready to protect our interests."
Norway's foreign minister Espen Barth Eide:
"The attack is described by Israel as a pre-emptive strike, but it is not in accordance with international law. A pre-emptive attack would require the existence of an imminent threat.
"We call on all parties to show restraint and not to give up on the possibilities of finding diplomatic solutions to the conflict,"
International Committee of the Red Cross president Mirjana Spoljaric:
"The military escalation in the Middle East is igniting a dangerous chain reaction across the region, with potentially devastating consequences for civilians."

Jordan government spokesman Mohammad Momani:
"Jordan is not part of the conflict in the region and will not allow anyone to violate its sovereignty and will defend its interests with all its might. Jordan's position is clear on the need to stop the escalation in the region."
UN Human Rights Chief Volker Türk:
"I deplore the military strikes across Iran this morning by Israel and the United States of America, and the subsequent retaliatory strikes by Iran. As always, in any armed conflict, it is civilians who end up paying the ultimate price.
"Bombs and missiles are not the way to resolve differences but only result in death, destruction and human misery. I call for restraint and implore all parties to see reason."
