Spain's first dedicated dog waterpark, Aquapark Canino, has opened its doors in La Roca del Valles, welcoming pups and their owners to dive into a summer of tail-wagging fun.
Pups go down the water slides and splash around the pool alongside their owners. Others can be seen dashing across the green field and enjoying the sun.
"What dogs really want is to play with other dogs, and they love it when their owner plays with them too. So the idea is to get in and play with your dog. It's a kind of dog-lovers' community, you could say," explained the park's manager, Didac.
"We're really happy, honestly," he continued. "People from other places always come and ask us why they don't have something like this where they live. We'd love to open more."

The canine waterpark provides dogs with a refreshing escape from the sweltering summer heat, featuring two pools – one specifically designed for smaller dogs.
"Dogs suffer from the heat just like we do, and anything involving water is good for them. Plus, people tell me that when they get home, the dog sleeps all night, is super calm the next day, very relaxed," Didac said.
Aquapark Canino, 30 minutes outside Barcelona, first opened up on May 3 and will keep its doors open until October 5.
In addition to pools, the park also features a chill out zone, a grass terrace, restaurant, bars, as well as a 'hairdresser and costumes' area for pups to freshen up after playtime.
