Nuclear Energy: Powering the path to Net Zero – The Agenda full episode

The Agenda

29:40

At last year's COP28 in Dubai world leaders announced an ambitious plan to triple the world's nuclear power capacity by 2050. It's seen as a vital step on the road to net zero.

But just how to do that is the key question facing the industry – and it's a question that was at the very heart of the World Nuclear Association's annual symposium held recently in London.

This special edition of The Agenda comes from that symposium, where Juliet Mann spoke to Sama Bilbao y Leon, Director General of the World Nuclear Association; Ed Cook, Head of Capital Markets at BlackRock; Laszlo Varro, Vice President of Strategy, Insights and Scenarios at Shell Global; and Bill Lacivita, nuclear expert and Partner at McKinsey and Company.
