The 'Swifties' are coming! Pop superstar Taylor Swift has arrived in Europe, and her army of fans will be tracking her every movement. Watch the video above to see just how much money will be spent across the continent.
Swift began the European leg of her Eras tour on Thursday night. She kicks things off with four concerts in Paris before taking her roadshow to another 17 cities including London, Madrid, Stockholm, Munich and Amsterdam.
Swift's fans mean business - literally. Research firm QuestionPro says the American leg of the Eras tour generated around $5 billion for the U.S. economy, all within a few months.
It's not clear how much European fans will spend, but the data suggests it won't be a cruel summer.

Demand for Airbnb properties in the 'Swift cities' has surged since she released her tour schedule last year. Analytics firm AirDNA looked at demand for properties over the periods that Swift will be in town.

The pace of bookings for Paris properties was 80 percent higher than the same period last year. It was up more than 220 percent in London and a staggering 1989 percent in Vienna.
Incredibly, demand had already reached those levels by late November - more than six months before Swift even set foot in Europe.
But the spending doesn't stop there. QuestionPro says 'Swifties' budgeted, on average, just under $900 for a single show in the U.S. That includes concert tickets, merchandise, food and drink for the day and of course, an outfit that hits all the right notes!
Swift's fans clearly love a good time. But pretty soon, Europe's hospitality sector could be laughing - maybe even singing - all the way to the bank.
