China is hoping for a fresh start in its relationship with the EU, following a round of high level talks between ambassadors in Brussels this week.
In this week's episode of The Agenda, Chinese ambassador to the EU, Fu Cong, tells Juliet Mann that while the economic relationship between the pair is vital, relations go far beyond trade.
Fu Cong says that China views the EU as a powerful political force and that both parties have much in common, notably multilateralism and a desire to tackle important issues such as climate change and ending the conflict between Russia and Ukraine.
