China reveals logos for three manned space missions in 2023
The China Manned Space Agency (CMSA) has revealed logos for three manned space missions this year – the launches of the cargo craft Tianzhou-6, and the crewed spaceships Shenzhou-16 and Shenzhou-17.
According to the CMSA, it was the first open logo solicitation of China's manned space program.
Since the launch of the logo call on February 15 this year, the CMSA has received more than 1,500 submissions from over 500 organizations and individuals across China.

China launches four meteorological satellites
China launched four meteorological satellites into space from Jiuquan Satellite Launch Center in northwest China on Wednesday.
The satellites, belonging to the Tianmu-1 meteorological constellation, were launched by a Kuaizhou-1A carrier rocket at 17:09 (Beijing Time) and have entered planned orbit.
They will be mainly used to provide commercial meteorological data services.
It was the 19th flight mission of the Kuaizhou-1A rockets.
China okays its first mRNA vaccine, from drugmaker CSPC
China's drugmaker CSPC Pharmaceutical Group Limited announced Wednesday that its messenger RNA (mRNA) COVID-19 vaccine has been approved for emergency use by the National Medical Products Administration, making it the country's first domestically developed mRNA shot.
The company said its independently developed mRNA vaccine targets some major Omicron variants and that its booster dose showed a good neutralization effect against Omicron subvariants BA.5, BF.7, BQ.1.1., XBB.1.5 and CH.1.1. in clinical trials.
According to the announcement, the vaccine was granted emergency clinical trial approval in April 2022 and completed Phase I, II and booster vaccination clinical studies in China with over 5,500 participants.

China exports home-made 50-meter steel rails to Europe for first time
The first batch of 6,500 tonnes of Chinese-made 50-meter steel rails departed China's Tianjin Port on Tuesday for Serbia in Europe, marking China's first export of such steel rails to the European market.
A total of 22,000 tonnes of rails will be shipped to support the construction of the Hungary-Serbia Railway.
With a designed maximum speed of 200 km/h, the railway will link Hungarian capital Budapest and Serbian capital Belgrade. Upon completion, travel time between the two capitals will be reduced from eight hours to about three.
Thousands of horses set out to spring pastures in Xinjiang
Thousands of horses in Zhaosu County of northwest China's Xinjiang were recently let out from their pens. As snow melts, herdsmen are moving the herds from the farms of the Zhaosu Prairie in the Ili River Valley to live on the grasslands and pastures.
Members of the herd were observed galloping at the speed of 40 to 50 kilometers per hour, presenting a magnificent scene.
Zhaosu County has developed its horse industry, integrating local cultural and tourism businesses. Every summer, the local Tianma Cultural Tourism Festival attracts more than 100,000 tourists and equine industry practitioners to the county for tours and to seek business opportunities.

A train to Spring in suburban Beijing
Spring is everywhere in China, and it is the best season to embrace the warm weather, as well as the blooming blossoms. In suburban Beijing, a commuter train linking Changping District and Yanqing District is famous for the blossom views along the line.
The train, Line S1, running at the foot of the Great Wall from Juyong Pass to Badaling, is called "the train to Spring" by the Chinese, and is a popular choice for spring outings.
