The James Webb Space Telescope (JWST) is the most powerful and complex telescope ever launched into space, fundamentally altering our understanding of the universe. 

The JWST is NASA's successor to the Hubble Space Telescope. Its infrared cameras and larger mirror allow it to peer deeper into the early universe and capture data on the formation of the first stars and galaxies.
