The electric vehicle is a fully working model, known as the AIR4, and powered by four propellers, one at each corner of a frame underneath the chassis.

A driver can enter the vehicle by lifting up the top of the cabin, which is hinged at the hood.

Designed by TheArsenale agency, the flying car is capable of reaching heights of up to 700 meters and can fly at more than 90 kilometers per hour. It has been built in France and will go on show at an exhibition in Paris.

In a press release, Renault described the car as "a wink to how this icon could look in another 60 years," suggesting there are no immediate plans for production.
