A series of tunnels in Albania created during the Cold War to store more than a million weapons, have been transformed to store something a little different: Fish.

The tunnels in Labinot-Fushe, 60km south of the capital Tirana, have been repurposed as a fish warehouse for a company called Rozafa. It employs around 1,500 workers, mostly women, and it exports around $38 million worth of fish a year.

It also houses a daycare center and a cinema.

Some of the hundreds of other tunnels in Albania have also been repurposed into things such as homeless shelters, warehouses and cafes.
