Chinese students make up by far the largest proportion of overseas students at universities across the world.

Wang Yuetong, a 19-year-old Chinese student, has already spent a year in the UK, and is due to start her degree in Digital Media and Society at the UK's University of Sheffield.

"I think for an ordinary family like me, the cost of studying in the UK is a relatively big expense, but this investment is still worthwhile," she tells the Agenda's Stephen Cole.

"If we can still have online classes it's still worthwhile for me to study here."

From her home in Xi'an in China's Shaanxi province, she explains why she wants to study abroad, how she's planning to get back to the UK, and what she thinks life will be like on campus when she does.
