A rare Sumatran tiger has made its public debut in Poland, two months after it was born at the Wroclaw Zoo.

It is the first Sumatran tiger to be born in Poland for eight years.

There are only around 400 of the animals in the world, with 272 of those in captivity. Numbers of the subspecies have dwindled due to poaching and habitat loss.

Poland's new female cub was born on 23 May and has not yet been given a name. The zoo is letting the public decide what to call her via an online survey.
