Alexandre de Juniac, Director General and CEO of the International Air Transport Association (IATA) joins Stephen Cole to explain how they plan to return to a new normality for air travel. IATA is the global trade body for the airline industry which sets global standards for sustainability, security, safety and efficiency.

It's IATA which has warned European airlines could lose up to $89bn, so Stephen Cole has been finding out what its Director General is doing to limit damage and increase opportunity.

Alexandre de Juniac says despite airlines having to adapt to a post-pandemic world, he doesn't think the age of cheap travel is over:

"The pressure on prices will remain important and the pressure to maintain the prices low…so I think we will continue to be able to travel with reasonable fares.”
