Sebastian Coe, president of World Athletics, discusses the effect of COVID-19 on the sport. Coe tells The Agenda's Stephen Cole that despite sport being a "great driver of social change," occasionally "sport needs to take a back seat.”

Coe acknowledges the decision to postpone the 2020 Tokyo Olympics and Paralympics "was the right one" despite the emotional turmoil for athletes, protecting the integrity of the competition.

Coe also expects sport to play "a mountainous role" in society's recovery after "a traumatic time for many people."
