China's foreign minister Wang Li is in Germany for the Munich Security conference and COVID-19 is top of the agenda.

This is the first overseas trip by a senior Chinese official since the COVID-19 outbreak and the main message is don't panic. A spokesperson from the Chinese foreign ministry said Wang Yi is looking to defend China's history in dealing with the outbreak as well asking for higher levels of support and understanding.

Another potential topic of conversation is Germany's approach to Chinese tech giant Huawei, as Members of Chancellor Angela Merkel's Christian Democrats recently backed a position paper resisting U.S. calls to shut Huawei out of its 5G roll-out.
