The Agenda

Apocalyptic scenes continue to emerge from Australia, where bushfires are ravaging the country. This season they started earlier and spread further than ever before - more than 10 million hectares of land have been burned; an area the size of Scotland. Dozens of people are dead, thousands of homes have been destroyed and over a billion animals have perished. And yet the fires are far from over - they will continue to rage until March. So, how will the country cope and what does this mean for Australia's delicate eco-system? To answer these questions, we are joined from Sydney by Stuart Blanch from The World Wildlife Fund.
