Emma Keeling is in Innsbruck to visit the Austrian Space Forum, a research body gathering knowledge so that one day, when people go to Mars, they know how to do it in the most efficient and safe way possible. The 'analog astronauts' overcome rigorous selection to make it on to the Austrian space program. Recruits will have to successfully pass the spacesuit simulator and technical tests before taking part in a highly challenging mock trip to Mars. They hope to be part of a one-month mission to the Negev desert in Israel next year.
