In this episode RAZOR meets the 'Analog Astronauts' who are preparing to brave the deep isolation of space and visit the Danish company that has developed new AI technology which can assist in early cancer detection.

Emma Keeling is in Innsbruck, Austria to investigate how analog astronauts overcome rigorous selection to make it onto the Austrian space program. The new recruits will have to successfully pass the spacesuit simulator and technical tests before taking part in a highly challenging mock trip to Mars.

Guy Henderson is in Copenhagen to visit the Danish company that has developed new AI technology. The Miiskin app allows users to take a photo of their moles and skin, then AI technology assists with monitoring of skin changes. This can help patients identify changes in their skin that potentially could be an early sign of skin cancer.
