Global debt: The Agenda in full

Money might make the world go around but borrowing has reached its highest level on record. This week we discuss whether global debt is really the sword of Damocles - a burden hanging over all of us, or actually an essential part of our lives.

We speak to a global sovereign debt lawyer Lee Buchheit, who's spent four decades helping Governments fix their finances, and Tobia Adrian, financial counsellor at International Monetary Fund.

We also discuss whether we should eradicate household debt, speaking to Johnna Montgomerie, author of 'Should We Abolish Household Debts?' and Lynn James - also known as personal finance blogger Mrs Mummypenny, who turned her life around after finding herself nearly $30,000 in debt.
