Exclusive Interview with the Chinese Ambassador to the UK
The Agenda

The UK has a broad and deep relationship with China, which will continue to be important as the UK gets ready to leave the EU. Liu Xiaoming has been China's ambassador to the UK since 2010.

He is known for his eloquence in English and he has seen four Prime Ministers come and go during his ten years at the Court of St James's. Recently he has observed at close hand the political agonies of the Brexit debate.

His Excellency came into CGTN's London headquarters and the Agenda began by asking him about the current level of relations between Beijing and London.
